Let’s take Western Union for example. There is a minimum of $10 fee as July 2016 when transferring offline and in person. Transferring online tends to less expensive, less time-consuming and sometimes free on this system.
It is often difficult to send money to friends, family or a vendor from the USA to another country or even within the USA or from an international area to the USA.
There is an option in Western Union that enables you as the sender to pay with your USA or other country’s debit card to the receiver’s bank checking account whether that destination is USA or other country. In most cases, there are zero fees.
Just log in to your Western Union account online. Enter the receiver’s name, payout location, delivery method, payment method, service, and amount and click CONTINUE.
Review all items within your transaction and if accurate. Read the terms and conditions and agree and CONTINUE. If Western Union accepts your request to transfer funds, you will see a RECEIPT.
Did you know that you can also own an international phone number that is local to your loved ones overseas? When they dial that local number, it rings you where you set it to ring. There are a set up fee, monthly fee and in some cases per minute fee.
