Cicret Wearable Touch Screen on Your Arm for All Skin Colors

wearable tech, vaporware, cicretA French company Cicret and co-creator Guillaume Pommie shared a tablet that works via human skin, first on video. “With the Cicret Bracelet, you can make your skin your new touchscreen. Read your mails, play your favorite games, answer your calls, check the weather, find your way…Do whatever you want on your arm.” It’s one of the most talked-about wearable tech!  The Cicret bracelet is like having your phone, address book, calendar, clock, and Internet device in your skin.

The Cicret displays the touch screen via a mini projector called PICO and eight small sensors. To sync with your device, a blue tooth and Wi-Fi component connects you to a network. Cicret has a vibrate function and a micro USB charging port. The Cicret bracelet is water resistant and super durable, too.

Ready to start the touch screen up or answer your phone? Just flick your wrist. The technology lets you do what you want to do by flicking, swiping, pinching and zooming. The pioneering gadget comes available in ten different colors and in 32GB and 16GB.

Some ask very reasonable questions such as what about people with dark skin or lots of hair on their arms? Keep in mind, world, the Cicret Bracelet is just a mock up. There was no real prototype or such device in working order in late 2014 when the Youtube video was first launched as described now, but the idea does sound cool and variation on it may result in practical and safe reality! Since then, an actual prototype has been created that works with all skin colors by the French company Cicret, hopefully on the way to avoiding the label vaporware.
